Meet Our Coconut Cutlery
Coconut cutlery is made from coconut wood with a coconut oil finish. This wood is sourced when coconut palms are at the end of their 60 year life cycle and the wood is diverted from waste or from being burned. The wood grain is pronounced and unique, giving a natural look and feel to your meals. This unique material makes for cutlery that is lightweight, adding a touch of natural charm to any table setting or meal on the go.
Suitable for outdoor picnics, kids, and camping trips, as well as for everyday meals at home - these are a versatile addition to your everyday toolkit. We also have Stainless Sporks available as part of the cutlery range if you are after something dishwasher proof.

Coconut Wood Cutlery:
Clean - Hand wash to clean with warm, soapy water. Please do not use your dishwasher.
Care - Although a strong wood, please do not use the fork with undue force as the prongs may break.
End of life - Reuse as a garden marker or break into small pieces and compost. If composting is not available, please use your green waste or landfill bin.
Linen Carry Case:
Clean - hand or machine wash on cold with an eco detergent. Please note that if you use hot water, the linen may shrink. Low iron on the reverse side avoiding any logos.
Care - Linen is a durable fabric, the main thing is following the cleaning instructions to avoid shrinkage.
End of life - Compost by cutting into small pieces excluding the logo - the rest of the linen is natural and undyed and suitable for home or commercial compost. Please note that the composting time will be pending the temperature of your compost. If no compost is available, please use the landfill bin.

It really depends on how you envision using your cutlery. The Stainless Spork is much more durable (being from Stainless Steel) so great if you are tough on gear and want it to last years and years. We like how the Coconut Wood Cutlery pack feels when you are eating from the utensils - there’s something about having a fork in one hand and your knife in the other! The Coconut Wood Cutlery is lighter and perhaps has a nicer aesthetic depending on your taste - food pictures anyone?
-
The carry case was designed to fit all three utensils and there’s a little extra space in there in case you want to fit a Reusable Straw or a small napkin.
