Meet Our Beeswax Wraps
Our Beeswax Wraps are an easy way to preserve the freshness of your food and they look great. They are beautifully designed with organic cotton fabric which is covered in our secret recipe beeswax - sticky on what you are covering but not on your hands!
They are ideal for wrapping sandwiches, cheese, half avocados, fruit and veggies, and covering bowls. A half-cut avocado in a beeswax wrap will stay fresh for days. You can quickly cover left overs as well as work and school lunch boxes.! The gorgeous patterns will brighten up your kitchen and they are completely reusable - just wash with cold water and an eco dishwash or our Dishbar.

Cardboard packaging with FSC-certified card stock. Your package will be sent via plastic-free shipping either in a cardboard box with paper tape or a home compostable mailer with corrugated cardboard for protection.

These will last up to a year and can be composted at the end of their life. Wipe clean using a cloth to care for the wrap. If necessary, wash with cold water (and eco-detergent if required). Avoid warm or hot water, as water will a higher temperature will remove the wax from the cloth and it will loose its stick. Hang them to dry and use them again and again.

Definitely. Use it like any other wrap, only it’s plastic-free. It is made of non-toxic wax and cotton.

Raw meat: beeswax wraps can only be cleaned with cold water and soap, using it to wrap raw meat can lead to pathogen growth.
Citrus, peeled pineapple, and cut onion: these foods will break down the beeswax and damage your wrap. Onion may tarnish the smell on your wrap.
Other than those foods, your wraps are super versatile and lovely to use. We recommend having a variety of food covers on hand in your kitchen for different foods. The Silicone Stretch Lids work really well with raw meat, citrus, pineapple, and onions. Keep a variety of containers on hand (we love using these Stainless Containers), and saved glass jars with a wide mouth work well too.

Beeswax wraps can be kept in the fridge but not in the freezer because it may cause freezer burn.

Yes, after a year of use, you can dispose of the wrap into a compost bin. Please cut the fabric into small pieces first to aid the decomposition process.
